Jewels de Paragon (JDP), one of the pioneers in the jewellery business in the city, unveiled a magnificent trophy Ñ a silver pyramid topped with a silver tee and a gold ball studded with 3,375 diamonds, reports DHNS in Bangalore.

The trophy, worth its weight literally in silver, gold and diamonds, will be presented to the winner of the JDP Open golf tournament to be played at the KGA golf course on March 11 and 12. But more than the title, it will be the rolling trophy that the club golfers will be gunning for. For, it would be theirs for keeps, for at least a year.
"It's one of a kind in the country," said K V Kishore, managing director, JDP. "My wife Shanti designed the trophy," he added.
