After opening offices in Israel and Belgium, in 2004, the Diamond Trading Society of Angola (Sodiam Sarl), a branch of Endiama EP, will this year open a office in China or Hong Kong.

When announcing this to Angop, Endiama Public Relations Office director, Sebasti'o Panzo, underlined that the opening of the Asian office has as main goal to divulge and introduce Angolan diamonds in the Asian market.

It also envisages the insertion of Angolan technicians into the business world of the Asian market, to allow them acquire much more knowledges about negotiations involving diamonds, in order to insert Angola in the world industry of diamonds and, therefore, attract major investments for the country, he added.

According to Sebastiao Panzo, right now Sodiam Sarl is surveying China and Hong Kong markets in order to achieve optimal results of its intervention in Asia.
